Song Learning Any one?

Hi everyone. I hope your time from the inipi ceremony has been good to you! Hopefully lots of sleep and interesting dreams.

Our next Circle will be March 15th Sat evening beginning at 5:00 pm. This will the last "open to others" circle for us. So if any of you know someone who needs to be with us please let them know. There a couple that have contacted me with their intentions to be a part of what we are doing...I truly hope they will make it this time:)

As you know, we are in the depths of winter. It can be the hardest time for many of us and to be able to have this great circle it essential. So with this said....there will be a Song Learning on March 9th here at the house. Julia has asked to learn the songs to become a singer in the ceremony for me but you all are welcome to come on this day. I have a CD for everyone and also the words to many of the songs that we will be learning so you can actually see what this language looks like and what we are singing! Please let me know if you are thinking about coming so I can have a head count. I believe we set the time for 12:00 and yes it is a Sunday for a change. Not sure how long we will sing but probably a couple of hours.  Of course if you want to come please bring food to share as singing can make one very very hungry!!!!

Please continue to take good care of yourselves and write down any dreams day or night that have meaning for you. We can always share these at our next circle.

PURIFICATION CEREMONY

 
Hi everyone.  First I wanted to thank all of you who came to the circle last night. You are all such bright shining ones!

Second a purification ceremony (lodge) has been asked for and soon. In fact next SATURDAY FEB 1st is the date. I most always do this ceremony in the evening as it just feels right to do so. The time of the actual door is at 7:00pm.This means the fire tenders and anyone who would like to be a part of learning about tending or just be a part of what goes on needs to be at the house by 4:30pm. If you come earlier I will put you to work helping out in other ways!!!  Otherwise, if not coming to the starting of the fire,  please show up at least 40 min before we go in...but an hour is best.

The fire will be lit as close to 5:00pm as is possible.

I never know how long we will be in so do not schedule anything for later that evening because you most likely won't make it! Also if you need to spend the night please bring the following;


Sleeping bag or blankets, mat and pillow
  food for your breakfast in the morning
  and anything else that you may need to stay over , contacts, meds


There will be coffee and tea available but I will NOT be preparing anyone breakfast:)

And please try to leave for home no later than 11am as I do need my down time....BIG thanks in advance!

This lodge will be just for the women of this circle. I will be doing an open one in the near future.

If you are on your moon  you may come and help with the food but you may not be around the lodge or fire until we are done...you are just WAY to powerful on your moon...oh yes you sure are!!!

I will be sending out an email to the circle women today to give you any other information you may need.

Look Up:)

Today and for many days now I have noticed very deeply that the energy around me is different. Not sure how to explain  "different." But it feels thicker at times yet fluid. Fluid as in warm water but just a bit heavier. Am I making sense? Probably not. But if you are experiencing anything like this you will understand.

I have been reading books on Frank Fools Crow. I had read one of them once before but this time around feels like I have never read one word and I know I have. I am astonished by what he was able to do and his humbleness. I believe he is/was a holy man. I wish I could have met him but right now I feel as if I have. My work with lodges has changed for me just by reading this work. I have been praying for this change and here it is. I can not and am not able to tell you what the changes are because I am just unable to do so. But if you attend one of these ceremonies in the future and you have been in with me before you will know the difference for you.

I hope that all of you will Look Up once in a while. There is a whole world that lives in the air and they are just waiting for you to look up!

In Addition....

I also wanted to let you all know that if you would like to come try the Women's Circle out for this month  please do. You will not be pushed into being a part of this group but you might like to come and see what we could be all about! I may extend this to Feb too as I know many of you are interested but won't be able to make the upcoming Jan one.:)

Well.... I have figured out the date for the next Women's Circle.  I will be Janurary 25th  Saturday Evening.   The circle starts at 5:00pm so please be at my home by no later than 4:30 pm. Part of being in a women's circle or any circle for that matter is being on time. I know that once in a while it is impossible to do this but if you plan your time your chances of getting here are much better! This is a learning of RESPECT for myself, others and the work.:)

Also remember to bring with you a drum if you have one.. no rattles at this time please. And also the best food you can bring. Learning to prepare your own dishes is greatly appreciated and will be shared with great joy! Remember too if it has meat in it or gluten please write that some where on the dish so everyone will know.

The Beginning of Something Wonderful!

My name is Jennie (Jen).  I am also called Walks With Me Woman,  Ceremonial Stars Makes Earth Constellations, Star Bird and this is The Beginning of Something Wonderful!

I have been wanting to do this circle for about 3 years now but Creator had other plans for my life until now. I am so excited and delighted to be of service in this way:D It is an honor.

A Women's Circle is for all women from any other circle and all walks of life. You just have to bring your willingness to have an open heart and open mind. We gather once a month at my home in my little "sacred cottage" to sing and drum and to learn how to sing and drum! Each woman will also get a chance to hold a wonderful wooden bowl filled with sands and surprises while she speak of what is going on in her life with no judgement from the rest of us. I will share the alter and life stories and what I see and hear is coming along our paths. We  will also be in lodge. I hope to alternate these two as much as I can. This will depend on me, you and our timing in the month. We will also learn many  many other fun and interesting things like a walk in the woods to identify plants we can actually use medicinally; maybe we can learn something about bead work and how to make click sticks to sing with.....   I will announce the dates in advance as much as I can. Great Mystery really has the timing here not me! I have been asked for a calendar of events and times.....sorry but that doesn't seem to happen very much when it comes to Spirit things!  So be patient and open and enjoy this walk with this Women's Circle.

There is no charge for the circle but donations for toilet paper, candles, and wood for the lodge fires is suggested please.... Oh... and there is one more thing I do ask for this circle....  a commitment from each of you for the whole year of 2014.  I know all of you will miss 1 or 2 but what I would ask is if you plan to take the summer off then this may not be the circle for you. It is very important that we build together so we can take this work even deeper into the Spirit world. Look deep inside yourself and see if this fits for you or not.  And yes you can come sit in Circle for the months of Jan and Feb but after that I will close the circle for the ones who would like to grow together.:)

The next Women's Circle will be January 2014 but the date is not solid yet.  Please stay tuned for more information coming very soon.!
